The project was delivered under an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract, consisting of three photovoltaic installations mounted on trackers, each supplying power to a 180 HP irrigation pump operating from October to May.
Together, the system has a nominal capacity of 450 kW and an installed capacity of 438 kW, considering the derating due to the site’s altitude of 1,220 meters above sea level.
The structural and foundation design accounted not only for standard wind and snow loads but also for seismic activity and temperature variations of ±30ºC. Inverters with IP65 protection and active ventilation were used to ensure reliable operation under the region’s high temperatures.
